LiiNCS Announces the Appointment of Four New Executive Committee Members

April 23, 2018 (WESTBURY, NY) –– LiiNCS announced today that the Board of Directors has elected four new members to the organization’s executive committee. These appointments come as LiiNCS enters the second quarter of 2018, and shifts focus to a continued expansion of offerings in career support and community engagement resources for its members.

Joining the team as inaugural co-chairs of LiiNCS’ Community Engagement Committee are Amit Gera, president of Perfume Brothers, and Tim McGrath, licensed insurance broker at Marian Farese Insurance Agency. Together, Gera and McGrath will take over management of LiiNCS’ volunteer match program, curate local civic engagement and volunteer opportunities, develop new ways to engage members, and work with the events team to develop quarterly team building events.

Jose D. Velasquez, senior loan officer and Hispanic market coordinator at Contour Mortgage also joins the organizing team as Chair of the Professional Development Committee, another newly launched segment of LiiNCS. Velasquez will oversee the planning and execution of quarterly professional development opportunities for LiiNCS, and identify third-party partnership opportunities to immerse members.

The Board is reviewing additional candidates to co-chair this committee and expects to announce another confirmation soon.
