LiiNCS Elects Financial Advisor Greg Needle as 2018 President

January 23, 2018 (WESTBURY, N.Y.) –– Long Island’s young professionals have a new representative with their interests in mind at the helm of their premiere networking resource. LiiNCS announced the selection of Greg Needle, Financial Advisor, Mitlin Financial as its next president for the 2018 operating year.

Prior to his appointment as president of LiiNCS, Needle served as Treasurer and Chair of the Events Committee. His noteworthy achievements include guiding the organization through multiple fundraising campaigns and correcting operating deficits. Described by his former committee members as “always unafraid to burn the midnight oil”, Needle contributed to the development of a sustainable framework for the association and supported boots-on-the-ground outreach initiatives to grow membership.

Needle’s election comes as LiiNCS positions itself to roll out new offerings for the year ahead, such as tiered memberships that offer various levels of access to exclusive social events, educational workshops, and more career support services for the workforce’s youth of the region.

“I am eager to get to work on what will be a massive 2018 for LiiNCS and Long Island alike,” says Needle, a Syosset native, who studied Economics at SUNY Buffalo and holds a distinguished record of civic engagement in the local community. He brings to the position a deep understanding of the nuances of the nonprofit and an enthusiastic desire to continue the momentum.

LiiNCS is also proud to welcome four newly elected individuals to officer roles including Steve Polgar, Allstate Agent, as Secretary and Membership Chair; Christopher Fasano, CPA, Manager at EisnerAmper LLP as Treasurer; Laura Cheek, Founder, Brander and Social Media Strategist at InsperienceIt as Marketing Chair; and Fahad Anwar, Banker, Capital One as Development Chair.

LiiNCS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission to cultivate environments for young professionals on Long Island to better their community and careers through new connections, professional development, civic engagement, and social impact.
